Bank Barn is a luxuriously appointed, spacious detached property set in a commanding position with views across fields towards Lake Ullswater, arguably the most beautiful lake in the Lake District. The Location
The property lies in a tranquil and private setting at the end of a shared drive in the hamlet of Wreay, 1 mile from Watermillock and the lake shore. The village is only a 10 minute drive from the M6 and Penrith. The area provides an excellent base for walkers wanting to explore the dramatic scenery round Helvellyn, the second highest peak in The Lakes.
The History
Bank Barn was renovated 5 years ago to a very high standard by the current owners and features a beautiful combination of Asian antiques and artefacts combined with traditional farm house features. The look is uncluttered and elegant.

The Grounds
To the front and making the most of the views is a patio with garden furniture and a large lawn. There is also parking at the front for up to 4 cars with additional covered space in an outbuilding for another 2 cars. At the rear there is a terraced garden with shrubs looking up to a wooded brow. |
