The property has recently been refurbished to offer guests a high standard of accommodation and a wonderful venue for a large gathering of family or friends. The Hall is on the outskirts of the quiet village of Stanford on Avon. Stanford lies in the heart of England in rural Leicestershire between Rugby and Market Harborough. It is easily accessible being only 4 miles from the M1/M6 motorways and the A14. East Midlands and Birmingham International Airports are both within a 30 minute drive. There is a ample space for landing a helicopter in the grounds of the Hall.
The History
Stanford Hall has been the ancestral home of the Cave family since 1430. In the 1690’s Sir Roger Cave arranged for the demolition of the original manor house in order to build the present Hall. The AccommodationThe accommodation is better suited to a maximum of 18 adult guests. Ground Floor: - Marble entrance hall with flying staircase.
